The Carlyle Group, a global asset manager, has entered an agreement to acquire Johnson & Johnson’s Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics (OCD) business for approximately $4.2 billion. OCD provides solutions for screening, diagnosing, monitoring and confirming diseases, to clinical labs and the transfusion medicine community globally.
